San Mauro Wine of Friendship

Special sweet white dessert wine. It is produced from selected dried berries of the Muscat Momjan grape variety, which after two months of natural drying and in combination with natural gray mold (botrytis) develop characteristic and unique aromas due to symbiosis. Due to the high amount of sugar, fermentation is slow. Due to the specific agro-ecological conditions in the Momjan area, the San Mauro friendship wine achieves an extraordinary quality of grapes, and only suitable wine grapes are selected. The wine is of the highest quality, it is full and rounded with a nutmeg flavor that stays in the mouth for a long time. Due to the high sugar content in grapes, pronounced aroma and early ripening, it is suitable for the production of this type of sweet dessert wines. The wine of friendship can be defined as a wine of selective berry harvest, straw yellow in color with an orange sheen. The specifics of this wine are the high residue of unfermented sugar and the considerable density on the palate. The taste is full, intense, gentle and harmonious evolution of primary nutmeg aromas into tertiary aromas or aromas of aging. The aroma is intense and reminiscent of raisins, honey, dried apricots and prunes. It is produced in strictly limited batches only in selected years
