In 2010 Cattunar Winery began to produce four different types of malvasias, from four different soil types: Gray soil, Black soil, Red soil and White soil.
All four wines are distinctly different.
Red Soil Malvasia is of an intense yellow color with golden reflections, sparkling and crystalline. The aroma is full and linden, acacia and lemon and cedar peel prevail.
The taste of this wine is mineral, dry, warm, fresh and soft, with a velvety, sapid note, with an aftertaste that reminds of acacia honey.
It pairs well with fish, white meat, game (quail, pheasant) and cold and hot appetizers.
